MARBERY ORGANIC - ABOUT US

Organic production of agricultural products is based on the application of organic production methods in all phases, and excludes the use of genetically modified organisms and products consisting of or derived from genetically modified organisms. The organic production stages are all stages in primary production, processing, storage, transportation and transport, including the distribution, import and export of organic products.

Marbery organic is a company with a long tradition of organic fruit cultivation. Our plantations are located on an untouched and ecologically pure surface of 11 hectares in the upper course of the Toplice River, Kursumlija Municipality. The company is engaged in organic breeding and processing of many types of fruits (raspberries, blackberries, plums, cherries, strawberries). We are also involved in collecting fruit from agricultural producers from the entire Toplica district, whose area covers over 170 hectares of arable land.

Marbery Organic has a production facility for freezing, processing and packing of fruit. The company’s capacity is 1200 t.

OUR PRODUCTS

Raspberry

The raspberry is the edible fruit of a multitude of plant species in the genus Rubus of the rose family, most of which are in the subgenus Idaeobatus. The name also applies to these plants themselves. Raspberries are perennial with woody stems.

Blackberry

The blackberry is an edible fruit produced by many species in the genus Rubus in the family Rosaceae, hybrids among these species within the subgenus Rubus, and hybrids between the subgenera Rubus and Idaeobatus. Blackberries grow wild throughout most of Europe.

Plum

A plum is a fruit of the subgenus Prunus. It is distinguished from other subgenera in the shoots having terminal bud and solitary side buds, the flowers in groups of one to five together on short stems, and the fruit having a groove running down one side and a smooth stone.

Cherry

A cherry is the fruit of many plants of the genus Prunus, and is a fleshy drupe (stone fruit). Commercial cherries are obtained from cultivars of several species, such as the sweet Prunus avium and the sour Prunus cerasus. The name ‘cherry’ also refers to the cherry tree and its wood.

Strawberry

The garden strawberry is a widely grown hybrid species of the genus Fragaria, collectively known as the strawberries, which are cultivated worldwide for their fruit. The fruit is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness.
